• Co-led the development of a new career enhancement program with a global team of volunteers within the company over the span of about 12 months.  Helped plan and roll it out with the support of an extremely passionate team to over 70 people managers

• Prepared a development master plan for a very large property on Federal land in the Silicon Valley.

• Kicked off due diligence efforts for a potential property acquisition for a parcel owned by the Army.  Initiated traffic studies and developed outside the box ideas to take a property that was thought to have a development potential of 200ksf to over 600ksf.  Worked with and performed biological studies, easement research, phase one environmental site assessments, utility studies, etc.

• Started managing all financial aspects of lease related matters for the client and helping them better understand the total lease operational and capital costs

Senior Project Manager 1/2015 – 1/2017

• Kicked off the due diligence efforts on wet and dry utilities to enable master planning level decisions for a client's long term lease on a unique Federal property in Silicon Valley.

• Developed a utility infrastructure capital improvement plan

• Led a specialized consultant team to prioritize deficiencies on the airfield to inform a long term airfield maintenance and capital improvement plan.

• Created a underground utility locating and GIS mapping standard / process that was implemented across a portfolio of projects to mitigate risks against utility strikes and design and construction change orders associated with unforeseen conditions.

• Collaborated with the permitting department to help enhance and clarify the process

• Prepared and submitted many NEPA checklists for submission to the planning department and worked with historic consultants to prepare Section 106 packages for submission to the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO)

• Learned how to get projects done while respecting the constraints associated with Endangered Species as well as California Species of Special Concern

• Built many project schedules using SmartSheets and developed creative ways to leverage this cloud based scheduling software to drive progress forward

Job Manager / Civil Engineer 9/2008 – 12/2014

• Managed many aspects of a design-build project at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center from the design phase through the construction support phase.  

     Total Design Fee (Base Contract + Add. Services) = $1.2M

• Prepared and stamped the civil drawings for the 30% design-build contract document sets for the San Joase Wastewater Facility Switchgear M1, M2, and M3 Replacement project and the Emergency Diesel Generator project.

• Performed a detailed plan check on behalf of Santa Clara County Parks for the Martial Cottle Park job

• Evaluated seven sewer lift stations and force mains (See Appendix 19) and co-authored a initial CIP and long term Renewal and Replacement Program for the City of Monterey’s sewer collection system

• Designed a storm water and sewer lift station with FIRM capacities of 6550gpm and 460gpm respectively and provided construction and commissioning support for both

• Prepared multi-phased traffic handling plans, fire protection plans, and exiting plans at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center to help facilitate normal hospital operations adjacent to a congested construction work zone.

• Coordinated submittals and plan revisions between multi-disciplines to satisfy OSHPD plan check comments

• Back-checked the work of other staff to ensure a quality product while providing constructive feedback to enhance professional development and foster growth

• Leveraged Civil3D to design various curb ramps in the San Francisco area to comply with ADA standards.
